Nigerian models nominated for Africa Top Models at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Two of Isis models have been nominated for Africa Top Models at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the only Nigerian models nominated. The stunning models are Nigeria's Next Super Model 2011 winner Imade Ogbewi (pictured left) and Nigeria's Next Super Model 2012 winner Favor Lucky (pictured right) who won the model competition at age 14. In an interview with Bayo Haastrup the Agency's booker, he said that having two Isis models nominated in one category is indicative of how Isis models have taken Nigerian models to the world.

Joan Okorodudu, the originator of Nigeria's Next Super model and founder of Isis model, one of Africa's Leading modeling agencies, said getting the nomination letter from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week organisers was a total shock because "I come from a country where meritocracy is not the usual norm.
